A Summer Solstice Prayer for you
I felt the early morning sun coming through my window
this morning and remembered: it’s the Summer Solstice!
So I wanted to remind you to tap into the energy of
this very auspicious day.
Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year
in the northern hemisphere (if you’re down under,
happy winter solstice…you are celebrating
the imminent return of the light!)
In ancient Celtic cosmology, Summer Solstice was the
best day for making wishes. And…here’s the really fun
part. If the wish arises from your heart and soul, if you
can see and feel it happening,
then it must come true.
The wisdom from all the mystical traditions tells us this
is so. We are expressions of Divine Essence. We are
co-creators. Whatever we imagine, comes into being.
So, if you want to live on a planet where people respect
each other and our fellow creatures, where we celebrate
diversity, where we live in peace, joy, harmony and
prosperity and…all you need to do is see the world of
your heart’s desire. Feel it in the core of who you are.
And then live out of that place.
Jesus the Christ, one of humanity’s greatest manifestation
teachers, taught “Ask and it shall be given unto you. Seek
and ye shall find. Knock and it shall be open unto you.”
So go outside this morning.
Feel the sunshine on your face (even if it’s behind the clouds
or you’re feeling the rain on your skin, feel the sunshine.
You know it is there).
Send your energy into the center of the earth. Give thanks
for this day. And feel the smile coming to your face as you
imagine, see, feel, know the desires of your innermost heart.
Send them into the Cosmic Mirror and know they are already
dancing their way back to you.
Here’s a prayer for today:
If I see it, I can create it.
If I believe it, I can become it.
Say your prayer over and over
and over and over today.
Then let go. And no matter what
appearances present themselves to
you in the coming days and weeks,
keep saying your prayer until you
feel and know that it is true. Because
the external reality is only an extension
of your inner being. It will be the last thing
to shift. You need to trust your inner reality
to be the barometer of how things are.
And if your inner barometer isn’t how you
want it to be, then go back to praying,
imagining, seeing believing. And have fun
doing it!
