Praying the 5 Directions

Since returning from western Ireland last summer, the landscape of that place lives in my mind and I call upon it each morning as I pray, meditate and set my intentions for the day.

In the East, a rainbow over thatch cottages, and the clean air filling my lungs to remind me that the breath of my Source enlivens me…

In the South, the sun breaking out of the clouds and warming my face, connecting me to the fire in the center of the earth, the fire in my head, the fire in my belly, the illusion of form dissolving in the cosmic flame…
