Our 7 Day Countdown to “St. Patrick’s Day” event begins today!
And you’re asking yourself: ”Why should I care about St. Patrick’s
Day?” Well, that’s a valid question.
A lot of people think St. Patrick’s Day is about wearing green,
drinking Green Beer and sporting a t-shirt that says “Kiss Me, I’m
Irish.”
But if you let it be, St. Patrick’s Day can be an invitation into
something much deeper.
Over the last few decades, there’s been a resurgence of interest in
“Celtic Spirituality.” Why is that? Perhaps because Celtic Spirituality
is a way of being in and looking at reality that invites us to step into
magic, yet is also grounded in something ancient and real…and very much
connected with living and loving on this physical plane.
Actually, Celtic Spirituality is a perfect lens through which to
understand Conscious Manifestation, which, of course, is another
one of my passions.
So whether or not you’re part Irish (or your ancestors hail from
Scotland, Wales, Brittany, northern Spain, western Germany, etc.),
then Celtic Spirituality may have something to offer you. And over
the next 7 days we’re going to let St. Patrick’s Day be our threshold
into a new, yet ancient sensibility.
Quick Celtic Spirituality Tip of the Day: Let Go of Time.
The Celts did not live in linear time…they (like all the other indigenous
peoples of the world) experienced time as circular and connected to
the cycles of sun and moon. The Gregorian/Julian calendar and the
modern clock are actually unnatural for our bodies…and that’s why it
feels so bad to be rushing around all the time.
Here’s a secret: If you want more time, slow down.
